  • Opportunity exists for Fixed Term, Full Time and Part Time Associate Nurse Manager positions in our brand new unit at Casey Hospital

  • Full time position, 12-hour rotating shifts

About our Intensive Care Unit at Monash Health


Monash Health is an impressive organisation of 7 public hospitals, 21 community health sites, 5 aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between.


Casey Hospital is a 12 funded-bed general Medical/Surgical unit specialising in Urology, Obstetrics and post-operative surgical care.


At Casey ICU we have a strong patient focus and are committed to working as a team to enable priority patient care of the highest standard.


We have a strong education focus supporting new and ongoing staff through in service, clinical support and backing to pursue further studies, enabling you to advance your career within Monash Health along with access to resources whilst working in a knowledgeable and diverse team.


About the Role


Bringing your passion and genuine interest for Critical Care nursing along with demonstrated experience in high standards of patient care will ensure your success within our team. You will have proven ANM / leadership experience in critical care environments for a minimum of four years. In addition, you will have access to resources to support your wok in ICU enabling you to advance your career whilst demonstrating nursing excellence.


Looking to grow our dedicated & knowledgeable team, we are wanting you to bring your demonstrated skills, experience and leadership qualities within a Critical Care skillset to look after our patients.


About You


We are seeking candidates with demonstrated Critical Care experience; with a Post Grad in Critical Care. Your demonstrated experience within an ICU environment will see you flourish in our unit.


As someone with a strong work ethic, self-motivation and personal values your contribution with the team will support each other and our organisation to be leaders in our field with exciting and progressive treatment and care.


You are adaptable to a changing environment as we work together to deliver first class service. Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you have a positive work attitude, strong communication skills and a strong people-person focus allowing you to engage with our patients and their families.


We work as a close-knit team with strong value to collaboration, providing support to the wider multi-disciplinary team of our high standard of safety and patient engagement through their journey with us.

What you need:



  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Critical care certificate is essential

  • Previous ICU ANM experience highly desirable

  • Australian working Rights 

  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
