The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to be part of the Home Care leadership team. In this role as a Regional Manager - Home Care you will lead and manage the care and compliance of all home care staff and clients in your allocated regions.

You are a Registered Nurse, demonstrating progression to management with a track record of successfully overseeing Home Care operations. In your career to date you will be known as a visionary, with strong human-centered values and an ability to inspire people and drive accountability and change through influential relationships and an evidence-based, purposeful approach. This position can be based either from our Epping Head office or regionally with regular travel required to regional locations in NSW. The regional locations this position will oversee will be Wagga Wagga, Riverina, Deniliquin, Moama etc.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead, manage and be accountable for the service delivery of Home Care Services across the region including strategically growing the home care site through integrating home care into SCC retirement living and private services
  • Ensure compliance with all accreditation standards under Aged Care Accreditation
  • Manage and assist in the development of annual operating expenditure
  • Foster an effective style of team working, business awareness and promotion and innovation across the region. There should be a regional and organisational approach to decision making which ensures that the wider corporate agenda is appropriately reflected in regional priorities
  • Develop and maintain the ongoing management of key internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Manage the performance of staff, recruitment and selection.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed.

The Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse DIV 1 - preferable (Allied Health professional may also be considered)
  • A proven track record of strong performance in driving performance and key field operations metrics
  • Sound understanding of Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Home Care Packages and Home Support Programs
  • Able to prepare well researched, clearly presented reports and submissions as necessary
  • Current driver's license
  • A sound understanding and demonstrated implementation of performance management principles
  • Up to date computer skills including use of Microsoft office and electronic rostering
  • Aged care, health care disability and/or community service leadership/management experience
