About the Company:

This organisation has been providing aged care accommodation and independent retirement living in Southern Sydney for a number of years. They are now looking to expand their team and are currently seeking experienced Assistants in Nursing to join their friendly team.

About the Role:

Assistant in Nursing are an integral part of delivering care and are required to work closely with Registered Nurses and other health professionals to ensure excellence in care to the residents. To be successful in this role you will have utmost respect, empathy and a passion for aged care. Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Providing quality resident-focused care.
  • Undertake documentation and progress notes to the highest standards.
  • Take an active role in getting to know the residents and families.

Requirements:

  • Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care
  • 2-3 years’ experience as AIN
  • Ability to work all shifts
  • Empathy and compassion for the elderly
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to complete computer-generated documentation and progress notes as well as written charts
  • Current Police Check
  • Rights to work in Australia
