About Beacon Lighting Commercial

This is an exciting time to join our Commercial Division at Beacon Lighting Commercial!

We've been in the market for over 30 years and we continue to experience growth and expansion of the business due to our unrivalled success.

With five commercial offices across Australia, we specialise in residential, project and specification lighting in various commercial sites including new homes, apartments, hotels and aged care facilities. We are exclusive distributors of GE Lamps and Fixtures in AUS/NZ as well as our Beacon branded products, which means we are able to provide our clients with the best lighting solutions.

The Role

This opportunity is unique! This role will specifically support our Residential builders, working behind the scenes to ensure the Design and Sales team is free to focus on providing exceptional face to face service to their clients.

Based at our Parkinson office , this role involves updating product catalogues, maintaining the data with in the design system, and general administration tasks including payroll. You will also be the conduit between the sales team and the designers ensuring they have the information they need to provide exceptional and seamless service.

About You

This role is vital for supporting our growth in residential building sales and ensuring that our clients receive the best service. You will therefore possess the following skills and attributes:

General knowledge of the residential building industry
A proven track record in the Lighting/Electrical industry preferred but not essential
Demonstrated delivery of impeccable customer service
Excellent organisational skills and confidence in working with a computer
Enjoy working autonomously with great interpersonal skills and communication skills
A positive “can - do” and enthusiastic approach to your job
