Mayneline is a leading commercial joiner servicing a wide range of leading builders and private clients in the Eastern states with a strong base of repeat clientele.

We undertake a diverse range of projects from bespoke residential through to large commercial projects and the high-volume accommodation markets (apartments; aged care etc).

As part of our strategic growth, Mayneline is keen to employ the very best professionals and we are currently in an exciting recruitment phase for various roles in the business.

We are currently seeking an experienced State Manager for New South Wales. The position will be based in our Sydney offices.

Reporting to the General Manager, the State Manager will be responsible for overseeing all delivery functions of the business within NSW including:
  • Managing the company’s health and safety systems in the state including audits; responding to training needs and coordinating with our clients
  • Successful delivery of projects that satisfy the criteria of client satisfaction, quality, timeliness and financial targets
  • Maintaining strategic relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders
  • Lead and develop quality Mayneline teams and processes
  • Working with the Operations Manager, coordinating the manufacturing and logistics demands for our projects
  • Managing the resourcing of external parties required at site
  • Application of innovative design and construct processes, tools and techniques to add value to the company and our clients
  • Assist in the business development function
  • Assist the Commercial Manager and Operations Manager with project forecasting and administration of our commercial obligations
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the joinery industry spanning across a diverse range of sectors (residential; commercial; bespoke high-end joinery)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction Manager / Operations Manager role (or similar) in a joinery business
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite; various drafting packages and industry platforms (eg Aconex / Procore)
