JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Managing the quality system processes across three residential aged care homes (Mercy Place Mont Clare, Mercy Place Lathlain and Mercy Place Mandurah), you will be a member of the Aged Care Quality Team but will be based in the homes and will work collaboratively with the team within the home to ensure Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards are met.

  • Located at all three homes, reporting to the National Director Quality and Innovation, Aged Care
  • Responsible for coordinating the quality management activities and systems at the homes, analysing data, identifying improvements and supporting the management of the home to be compliant with the required practices in accordance with Mercy Health Aged Care policies and procedures
  • Ensure quality documentation is maintained to support organisational readiness for external accreditation processes
  • Champion and encourage our people to continuously review and improve work practices

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience with quality management systems
  • Strong understanding of compliance and quality improvement
  • Ability to influence and encourage staff to adopt a quality improvement culture while operating in a team environment
  • Possess superior communication skills and the ability to undertake quality audits to identify weaknesses and strengths
  • Dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents and taking reasonable care to protect fellow staff in the workplace
