My client is a family owned and operated business providing assistive technology to the aged care sector and those living with a disability. My client works with the end-users of their products and their healthcare professionals, supplying equipment to improve the mobility and independence of their clients. My client takes pride in building strong relationships based on trust with their customers, following a job through from trial, to sale, to delivery and after sales service.

This is a great opportunity for a confident and self-motivated salesperson to join their friendly team. Their work is never boring and every day is different, ranging from taking equipment to trial at our clients homes, meeting with procurement personnel in aged care facilities and hospitals, to working with customers who come in store to help them find equipment that meets their needs.

Skills required to be successful in this role include:

  • Proven sales success in a B2C setting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Motivation to meet KPIs and quality targets
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to listen carefully to the customer’s needs and offer practical solutions
  • Able to follow directions and fit within the culture and ethos of a successful team
  • This role involves lifting and moving heavy and bulky equipment
  • Industry experience is a bonus, but not essential

This position is based in my clients Bundaberg store. The successful applicant will hold a current Drivers Licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle. The role includes loading and unloading equipment from vans when taking products out for trials or delivery.

As part of this recruitment process, applicants who are shortlisted after an initial interview will be asked to provide a Police Check.
