The Role

As an Online Disability Trainer and Assessor, you play a critical role in the lives of learners from a broad range of backgrounds to help them gain the skills and knowledge they need to work in Disability.

The RTO is undergoing a huge transformation, including the creation of an entirely new student experience, and you'll get to be part of that.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Providing training and assessment for the Certificate III and/or IV in Individual Support (Disability)
  • Supporting students with phone training appointments and providing guidance where necessary
  • Assessing students online submissions
  • Responding to course-related issues
  • Participating in validation activities and team meetings
  • Giving empowering, useful feedback to students so they can meet their goals
  • Assisting students over phone and messaging

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering training in aged care and disability
  • Evidence of current commitment to vocational competency
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) and/or Certificate IV in Disability Support
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A high degree of professionalism
