Merriwa Multi Purpose Service

Rural Nurses think critically and utilise sound decision making skills. A period of time in a rural hospital will broaden your clinical exposure while using all of your knowledge, skills and experience.

About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a diligent Registered Nurse who is resourceful, adaptable and multi-skilled. In this role you will provide compassionate person centred care within the Merriwa Multi Purpose Service (MPS) ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. You will be supported in this role with our Clinical Nurse Educator and supportive senior staff.

About the facility:
Merriwa MPS is a wonderful 23 bed facility providing coverage for emergency presentations, acute medical conditions, aged care and end-of-life care. We also offer great self-contained accommodation.

About you:
We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse who is confident, resourceful and at home in a team but also able to work independently. You may like to consider this as an opportunity to trial a rural lifestyle with a view to relocating more permanently or simply wish to gain exposure to a rural setting.
