Position Summary:

The COVID-vac support team is responsible for functioning as first response for managing and coordinating the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination to the state of Victoria. Operating as a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, the group will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective and efficient immunisation campaign.

The Level 1 Support Analyst will function as part of a level 1 support team delivering CVMS first-line application support, supporting end-user general enquires, triage service requests & incidents and the management of support requests through to closure

Responsibilities: 

  • Receive incoming calls to the Level 1 Support team, log the issue, triage and escalate where necessary
  • Support end users in Level 1 application inquiries
  • Execute on Level 1 service requests including password resets, user-on-boarding and permission updates
  • Review, action and resolve outstanding incidents, issues and requests that are accepted by the Level 1 Support team
  • Provide operational support to the Team Leads Managers and the Manager as requested
  • Liaise with broader members of the Department of Health to investigate queries and use sound judgement to make recommendations on resolutions
  • Coordinate confidential and sensitive information with regard to critical incident reports and external inquiries and investigations for the Director, Managers or other senior members of the Department
  • Undertake project work as requested
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
  • Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
