About the role:

To align with global ambition, an opportunity now exists for a Territory Business Manager (TBM). This is a mid-level position supporting local and state-based sales mapping and growth opportunities.

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) plays an important role by showcasing their leadership and key account management skills through the management of a group of tier 3 pharmacy banners. The TBM is responsible for the promotion and for getting support and recommendation from healthcare professionals, retail pharmacies and medical Institutions for our client's Diabetes Care products. They will also assist the BDM in the creation and activation of Aged Care facility and hospital strategies.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage a group of Tier 3 pharmacy banners to drive market share growth
  • Create and activate the marketing plans for the Tier 3 segment with the support of internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop a local Business Plan to achieve FY sales targets
  • Implement marketing strategies and programs (KOL centric activities, Nurses education programs, Pharmacy Switch programs etc.)
  • Mapping and building relationship with KOL within defined targeted areas
  • Identify, Segment and Target right customer based on existing / future potential
  • Assist the BDM is the creation and activation of specific aged care facility and hospital programs and initiatives
  • Support the Sales Director in mentoring colleagues across the national team
  • Maintain a high level of Product and Therapeutic segment knowledge

Your skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree in science, Business or Marketing
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a TBM or KAM role (pharma, OTC or diagnostics preferred) crucial
  • Pharmacy and/or Hospital Key Account Management skills is a MUST
  • Hunger and drive to achieve sales results is a MUST
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home up to 1 week a month
  • Strong track record of delivering results (proven statistically)
  • Experienced in the tender process within the pharmacy, hospital and aged care sectors advantageous
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Know customer profiles and deliver customer centricity
  • Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good financial and business acumen
  • Proven ability to work in cross functional teams, as well as network internally and externally
