This small and elegant aged care facility is looking to welcome some additional clinical support in the very near future and we welcome you to send through your expression of interest to accept blocks of work to support the residents.

This facility has a focus on person centred care and has a variety of high care, low care and a memory support unit.

With under 100 beds and a Registered Nurse available around the clock, you will enjoy working in a tight knit team and getting to know the residents personally.

This facility provides special care for those experiencing memory loss or Alzheimer's disease, Respite Care and Palliative Care options. They even have their very own resident dog that loves spending time with its extended family onsite.

In this role you will help make the residents feel they are at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents with daily activities including personal care and hygiene.
  • Following the care plan as set by and agreed upon with the resident nurse.
  • Recording patient outcomes appropriately.
  • Building working relationships with the families of residents.
  • Reporting risks and incidents at the workplace
  • Physical and emotional assistance
  • Providing quality resident care according to their individual care plans.
  • Documenting their progress and outcomes.
  • Monitoring resident's progress and status, and reporting accurately.
  • Complying with legislation, regulations, and codes at the workplace and relating to the profession.
  • Complying with workplace health and safety responsibilities.
  • Personal care

Essential Criteria:

  • At least one year experience working in an Aged Care facility
  • Appropriate Aged Care qualifications
  • Police Clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive energy
  • Immaculate presentation
  • A focus on quality and compliance
  • A can do attitude
  • Empathy
  • Reliability
