JOB DESCRIPTION

Kindness l Care l Respect

You will be responsible for facilitating bus trips for our residents to shopping centres, local attractions and other places as requested.
Enjoy spending time with our residents and use your excellent customer service skills to help ensure they are safe and enjoy their experience.
You will also assist or cover the Maintenance Officer at Aveo Springfield and have the option to coordinate weekly social men's group.

About the role & Aveo Springfield:

  • Fixed-Term Part-Time role - ASAP to March 2022
  • Weekly Shifts - Wednesday & Thursdays (8am to 4pm)
  • Role is predominantly driving bus for residents social outtings
  • Assisting/covering Maintenance Officer as needed
  • Option to coordinate weekly Social Men's Group (retired seniors)
  • Vibrant retirement community with independent living villas/rooms and serviced apartments

About you:

  • Valid driver's licence - LR Class Licence (required)
  • Previous trade experience or similar (preferable)
  • Professional efficient manner and demonstrate an empathetic attitude to the needs of residents
  • Demonstrated ability to work within OH&S and a continuous improvement environment
