Job Description:

Position Title: Nurse and Operations Manager St Joseph's Hospital

Employment Type: Max Term Full Time up to July 2022 (leave relief)

Hours per week: 38 Hours

Position Grade: Nurse Manager 6 (Year 1 to 2)

Salary: $145,395.59 to $147,717.53 base salary per annum

Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2017

Position Summary:

A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Nurse and Operations Manager with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care.

This position will be accountable overall leadership and management of St Joseph’s Hospital.

Selection Criteria

  • Registered Nurse( Div 1) with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Association (AHPRA) registration

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.

  • Experience at senior management level with tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting teams through complex change

  • High level, written and verbal communication skills including preparing complex briefs and organisational communiques.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain high level partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Activity Based Funding and working within a target driven environment
