About the Role

We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our residential team in Broome. You’ll be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that provides tailored care that can be adjusted to meet our clients’ changing needs.

As a valued team member, and leader, you’ll be drawing upon your clinical knowledge to ensure that our residents receive the best clinical care from nursing and care staff.

In this role, we'll also be asking you to:
  • Support, coordinate and mentor a small team of nurses & health care workers.
  • Provide clinical leadership, assess & develop capability of nursing staff.
  • Ensure delivery of comprehensive & compliant nursing care.
  • Coordinate & oversee admissions, and clinical documentation.
  • Prepare budgets & support cost control initiatives.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs. Review & update relevant policies / procedures.
  • Consult with SCC WA clinical leads & external medical practitioners to ensure best outcomes for our clients.
About You

With several years’ nursing & clinical team leadership experience under your belt, you also have an in depth understanding of Aged Care Standards and funding instruments.

Success in this role, and job satisfaction will be greatly ensured if you have:
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Confidence to act in Facility Manager role as required.
  • Proven track record in leading & driving quality clinical outcomes.
  • The ability to maximise funding via ACFI.
  • Well-developed reporting & research skills.
