About Our Residential Services at Chestnut Gardens Doveton

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.

An exciting opportunity exists at Chestnut Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility where our focus is on supporting older people with complex mental and physical health issues to maintain a sense of well being and choice in their lives and to continue to feel valued members of the community. Located in Doveton, Chestnut Gardens is home to 100 people and we are seeking an exceptional Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) to join the leadership team.

About the Role

The primary role of an ANM is to assist with the management of day to day operations and staffing, to ensure that residents care needs are met and to deputise for the Nurse Manager (NM) as required.

Your leadership will play a pivotal role in delivering quality care and effective functioning of the unit, providing clinical support to the team and to deputise for the NUM when required, along with delivering high quality service to our residents. In return as part of Monash Health you will be offered opportunities for professional development and support from an amazing mul;tidisciplinary team.

This is an ongoing Part Time opportunity - across a rotating roster, 7 days a week

About You

You have a passion for aged care; are open to change and innovation in the aged care setting; have experience as a Registered Nurse/ANM in an aged care setting along with an ability to both lead the team by positive example and work effectively within the team. An ability to think outside the box would be a great advantage.

You have been developing your management and leadership skills or you are an accomplished Associate Nurse Manager; either way, you are ready to take this next step in your Career. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients.   • Relevant Qualification (aligned to positon description)

  • Current AHPRA registration
