Your new team

  • We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our Nursing Education team.

  • We work together as a team to support learners and staff in the clinical environment.

  • Help us to contribute to the development of all staff and students.

  • As a part of the General Surgery CNE team, you would work together to ensure support and guidance is provided across our surgical clinical areas.

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to

  • Provide mentoring and leadership in the clinical area

  • Provide junior staff, graduates and students with appropriate supervision, training and instruction in accordance with RMH policy and procedures

  • Support, encourage and empower nurses to provide excellence in their work, prioritising safe patient care

  • Support development and implementation of the clinical component of the Graduate Certificate in Nursing Practice in conjunction with our affiliate University of Melbourne

  • Gain valuable experience in the facilitation of the nursing programs

  • Contribute to realising The RMH Vision and endorsing The Melbourne Way

  • Assist with the clinical supervision of learners within the clinical areas where the need arises, including entry to practice nurses

Your Contribution

  • Extensive nursing experience in specialty and demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively

  • Passionate, enthusiastic, willingness to embrace new ways of learning

  • Play a pivotal role in the ongoing professional development of nursing staff

  • Highly developed interpersonal/communication skills
