Blue Care is actively seeking applications from Personal Carers, Assistants in Nursing and Support Workers for community care vacancies within our metro north cluster.

Blue Care Metro North Coverage:

Brisbane Metro & CBD, Toowong, Indooroopilly, St Lucia, Taringa, Fig tree Pocket, Wilston New Farm, New Market, Hamilton, Albion, Ascot, Clayfield, Wooloowin Gordon Park, Nundah, Hendra, Lutwyche, Grange, Stafford, Kedron, Chermside, Wavell Heights, Northgate, Sandgate, Strathpine, Samford Valley Ferny Grove, Kenmore, Pullenvale Bellbowrie and everywhere in between

While the Metro North section delivers care to a large spread of suburbs, your role will be based on a smaller section of suburbs within this coverage.

You’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

With no two days ever the same, you’ll spend your time on the road completing your scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients and their loved ones within their homes completing activities that include:
  • In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironing
  • Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
  • Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
What you’ll need:
  • Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability Support
  • Blue Card and Yellow Card or willingness to obtain
  • Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle as required
  • Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
