You will be part of the new Community Plus team. A recovery focused multi-disciplinary team who provides an extended hours clinical service to people who live within the municipalities of Wyndham, Hobson's Bay and Maribyrnong. In addition to experiencing significant mental illness/ mental health problems your clients will have other health and psycho social needs that significantly impact their wellbeing. With your team's support you will facilitate comprehensive responses for those needs.

  • Permanent Full-Time Role. RPN3/AH2 (10 x 8hr shifts per fortnight with monthly ADO)
  • Based at our Saltwater Clinic in vibrant Footscray
  • Friendly, innovative, professional team who are dedicated to helping people
  • Recovery based service delivering evidence based treatment for mental illness 7 days/week
  • Engagement with external service providers to develop integrated support systems
  • Registered with AHPRA as a Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Psychologist or; An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Experience in managing a caseload, and delivering treatment or care to people experiencing mental illness using a recovery based framework
  • Experience with and understanding of interventions and services that support clients with complex interconnected needs

Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
