Looking for a Workforce Rostering Coordinator to join a reputable aged care organisation.

This role is reporting to the Payroll Manager and is responsible for the superior rostering and scheduling services and employee liaison to ensure efficient and effective support.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure the workforce are where they need to be, when they need to be there and that there are enough employees to cover the work demands.
  • Build collaborative, positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including employees and the payroll team to plan and schedule the workforce to meet deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Undertake daily scheduling to cover unplanned changes in staff availability.
  • Respond to and be able to manage, emergency replacement or backfilling of staff/shifts
  • Successfully embed appropriate workforce planning strategies and practices and ensure all rostering projects are implemented on time and in budget.
  • Mentor and support other team members.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Ideally a minimum 3-years’ experience in rostering and/or scheduling, preferably within a 24/7 environment and experience in an Aged Care environment, is particularly desirable.
  • Certificate in Business Administration or similar (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability of planning and scheduling to effectively meet the work requirements of a large workforce.
  • Has a ‘can-do’ attitude with a flexible approach to resolving challenges, as work demands, expectations, and competing priorities frequently change.
  • Demonstrable effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Foster a positive team culture and inclusive environment.
