About the role

ARRCS Community Care programs deliver disability and aged care services 365 days across the Northern Territory. We now have 1 full-time position on a 6-month contract for a workforce planner in Darwin.

The role of Workforce Planner is responsible for scheduling the service delivery of our care and support workers to our clients. This will be achieved through maintaining rosters within a data management system and will be the key contact for our aged and disability clients regarding schedule changes, necessitating clear communication channels between clients, care and support staff, and other support roles. The Workforce Planner is accountable to ensure payroll entry through system administration and linking the team outputs appropriate planning for Community clients and participants ensuring services are in alignment across the Northern Territory.

Skills & experience

  • Certificate in Business Administration / Aged Care / Community or similar
  • Knowledge and experience of Roster/Scheduling and or Payroll Admin, ensuring exceptional interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Roster and Consumer Billing systems, including the management and coordination of services and liaison with required providers.
  • Demonstrated advanced time management, communication and administration skills
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of MS Word, Excel and other online client reporting systems
  • Demonstrated ability to respond and adapt to competing priorities whilst working unsupervised
  • Demonstrated ability to empathise with Aged People, their families and Personal Carers
  • Travel – Ability to travel with overnight stays between Darwin / Alice Springs
  • Current NT Drivers’ license
