About the role

The Team Leader will be responsible for leading the Disability Services team and ensuring consistent high quality, person-centred services are delivered. You will inspire, motivated and develop your team as well as ensure service KPI's are met and a quality practices maintained.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a leader to join a well established and growing Disability Service. You will provide supervision to a small team and develop referral networks within the region to further develop VMCH services and your team into the future.

Skills & experience

  • Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS Framework
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the disability field with the ability to promote dignity and respect for people with a disability and their carers
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and build capacity necessary to achieve organisational goals and respond to change
  • Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook.
  • A solid understanding of Government aged care funding and reporting requirements
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Sound experience in staff management and development
  • Preparedness to travel to regional Victoria and Southern NSW as required
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence
