Night Supervisor (Sleep shift)

Roshana Care Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned provider of High and Low Care Psychiatric, Aged Care and Mental Health Support Services in Western Australia. Established in 2001, Roshana has been at the forefront of providing Aged Care and Mental Health Services to the Western Australian community.

We are seeking dedicated mental health workers to live on site and provide overnight coverage at our Victoria Park facility and Midland facility.

This role will commence at 5.00 pm and go through until 9.00 am the following morning working 5 days per week with the exact days open to negotiation. This is a sleep shift, so from 9.00 pm - 6.00 am your free to sleep in the accommodation that is provided on site.

Please note: Outside of the sleep shift hours you will be providing care and support to our residents so previous experience in a mental health facility is highly desirable.

On offer is a remuneration package that includes a cash component as well as on site accommodation room and board as this a live in position. This would be an ideal role for someone that is studying and is looking to supplement their income and secure long term accommodation.

The main duties of this position:

  • To observe and document resident's behaviour.
  • Provide and record residents medications in accordance with policy.
  • Set up and supervise the kitchen/dining area for breakfast.
  • Assist in the kitchen in the evening.
  • Respond to out of hours calls from residents.
  • Provide on-site supervision of residents.

What you will need:

  • Cert III or higher in mental/community services or other relevant field (Essential)
  • Previous experience in working in mental health (Desirable)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
