We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, business savvy people leader to join our team in Home Hill.

The opportunity..

We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to work at Regis Home Hill

Reporting directly into the Senior Facility Manager, this is an opportunity for someone who has a sound background in management and is looking to start their career within the Aged Care space or further develop their knowledge and skills in Aged Care while being supported and mentored by an experienced manager.

This role creates the perfect stepping stone for someone who is looking to break into a rapidly growing industry. Your commitment and dedication will be imperative, as will a demonstrated pride in service excellence, to enable success in this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Management of the facility P&L;
  • HR and staff management;
  • Full oversight of the Catering, Laundry, Maintenance and Administration areas;
  • Completing a thorough on boarding program and developing the knowledge and skills required to be a Facility Manager;
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS processes
  • Working closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and effective culture;
  • Interacting with the residents and their families daily;
  • Sales and Marketing of the Facility

Competitive Remuneration | $95k - $105k + Super + Bonus incentive

Attractive Relocation Offer available

Base salary negotiated based on previous experience, size and location of the aged care home.

Located in close proximity to the racecourse and local high street, as well as being just a 20-minute drive from the stunning coast, Regis Home Hill residents can enjoy this relaxed environment whilst feeling both safe and comfortable. Regis Home Hill has beautiful landscaped gardens and courtyards and also boasts a hair salon, library, activity pavilion and covered BBQ area. Regis Home Hill has 73 beds available, including single and shared rooms with en suites

About you

This position would be suited to someone who is eager to learn, dynamic in personality and is ideally tertiary qualified in business, health or a hospitality related discipline. Experience in aged care or health services targeted to older people will be very well regarded.

Ideally you will be experienced within a multi-faceted, service based environment although this may come from a variety of industries. A natural leader and motivator, your communication skills will be exemplary.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to successfully lead and motivate services teams, providing strong and positive leadership whilst guiding strategic direction.

Mandatory requirements for all candidates

  • Evidence that you have had the 2020 Flu Vaccination or willingness to complete this before employment can be offered*
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Valid National Police Check

* The Australian Government has advised that all residential aged care staff and visiting workers should be vaccinated by 1 May 2020. This includes both current and future Regis employees.

Regis Incentive Program

In recognition of the criticality of the Assistant Manager role within Regis, in the FY21 year you will be eligible to participate in the Regis Incentive Program. Annually, you will be eligible for a bonus of up to 5% of your base salary. Achievement of the bonus is assessed against KPIs twice per year €“ i.e. each six months, with any due payment made thereafter.
