About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a National ICT Network Engineer to join our team of dedicated ICT professionals across our Calvary facilities including Hospitals, Aged Care and Community Services. This role can be based in either our National Office in Sydney CBD, or at one of our hospitals in the ACT.

Reporting to the National ICT Network Manager the purpose of this role will be to support the network services in day to day operations and projects. As Calvary operates services nationally, this dynamic role will also assist in supporting other Calvary facilities in conjunction with project responsibilities. Your experience with Cisco data and voice networks will be essential to configure and set up network and security appliances that are vital for access to business applications. You will be responsible for maintaining and configuring complex switching environments, wireless networking that supports open or secured access, and assist in the design of multi-server environmnets. What you bring

  • CCNA certification and/or extensive experience managing and supporting Cisco Data and Voice Networks and related processes
  • Fundamental knowledge in of LAN switching technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 routing technologies, WAN technologies
  • Experience with ICT infrastructure services, security and management
  • Expertise in routing, switching and firewall configuration and monitoring network performance
  • Effective project management, planning and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
  • Experience within the healthcare sector will be highly regarded, however not essential
