Working with a highly regarded boutique firm, this is a role that offers a unique chance to join a team that has ambitious plans for the year ahead. WIth 8 people added to the team in the last 3 months, this is a growing firm that has a great name in the market for low staff turnover and high company benefits.

The position is a combination of mobile community health, providing home care to the NDIS and home care package population, and delivering speech pathology services at residential aged care facilities. You will require access to a vehicle and a full Australian Driver's License. You must be professional, demonstrate initiative, and possess good communication skills.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to create program's and justify treatment approach
  • Deliver high quality speech therapy services and programs including full assessments and on-going management of swallowing, speech and language
  • Completing high quality NDIS assessments and intervention services (including communication, language, dysphagia, AAC, aphasia, and augmentative and alternative communication).
  • Work and communicate with care coordinators, other allied health team members, facility managers, case managers and doctors
  • Documentation and paperwork

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathology Australia membership
  • Current valid police check and working with children check
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
