Our Support Workers have the rewarding role of caring for people in their homes, enabling their overall independence.

Your day-to-day workload will be varied, from providing clients with varying support needs to provide tailored person-centered services and activities of their choice which enable them to remain living in the comfort of their own home and community.

In this varied role, you may be responsible for activities that can include Domestic Assistance, Personal Care & medication assistance, Shopping, Meal Preparation, Social Support/Respite and assisting in our exciting brand new centre based respite program, "Cafe Zoe".

We are looking for dedicated people with the below flexibility for permanent part time and casual opportunities.

  • Day Shifts: typically rostered between 7am to 3pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Afternoon / Evening shifts: typically rostered between 12pm to 8pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Weekend shifts can be a combination of the both.
  • Casual shifts must be available a minimum of 3 days / week.

3-4 day availability assists with fostering positive client relationships & providing consistency & continuity. Candidates with full week availability will be given preference.


  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or Disability preferred but not essential for Domestic Assistant position. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people with diverse needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to interact with a diverse range of clients, their families, carers.
  • A proactive approach to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and clients.
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and privacy and confidentiality issues.

Job requirements

  • Acceptable National Police Clearance less than 6 months old.
  • Up to date flu vaccination (or willing to obtain one)
  • Current Australian Drivers License (with no restrictions, no L plates).
  • Access to a reliable, registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third party insurance.
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one within 3 months of starting.
  • Flexibility with shifts: Availability Monday to Sunday
  • Available to attend paid compulsory meetings or training.
