Technology does not stand still and as we are vendor agnostic and focused on continuous improvement, we are constantly evolving. We’re looking for a Relationship Manager who will take a proactive approach in transforming current and prospective customer engagement.

You’ll build strong and enduring relationships with multiple stakeholders and take ownership of supporting customers as they transition to active users of our products and services, always focused on building close long-term relationships.

You will drive growth by ensuring that leads are not only converted, but delivered in excess of the customer expectations. You will seek to deliver extra value to your customers through creative and innovative ways such that our customers and RTG can succeed together.
What you’ll do
  • Understand current customer needs, our product and service offerings and market trends, and identify opportunities to suggest new and innovative ways for our customers to achieve their goals with our services and products.
  • Establish and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders both externally and internally.
  • Take ownership of the pipeline of deals and engagements with assigned customers, including driving of sales to closure.
  • Drive growth within assigned customers proactively through upselling, cross-selling and positioning of our full range of products and services
  • Partner with the Growth and Customer Experience teams to develop and implement a client satisfaction measure for new customers.
  • Seek opportunities to maximise and bring forward deals including the proactive follow up of renewals and other leads.
  • Drive our presales team to meet demands and expectations of customers for quotes and proposals, striving to shorten the sales cycle but ensuring quality and ability to deliver is not compromised
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our value proposition and industry insights.
  • Contribute to the development of our Marketing Strategy including participation in exhibitions, sponsored events and/or networking with local associations to promote our services.

What you'll bring
  • Experience selling ICT services and/or professional services demonstrating a successful record of accomplishment in new business sales (e.g. multiple sales exceeding $1M) within both new and existing client base.
  • Experience managing the whole sales cycle from lead generation to building and managing pipelines, to closing sales and after sales follow-up.
  • Experience dealing with a variety of stakeholders ranging from C-level Executives to IT Managers, and other business leaders
  • Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to create rapport, negotiate and influence.
  • Highly motivated and resilient to succeed in a fast paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Similar experience within the education, aged care or non-profit sector is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to develop effective relationships across multiple levels of customer organisations.
  • Business acumen and understanding of commercial processes
  • Driver's license and regular access to a car.
