About the role

Mater Health currently have great opportunities available for experienced and motivated Assistant in Nursing to join the COVID19 Vaccination rollout team. These positions are to start IMMEDIATELY and ideally you will be available to work on a 7 day roster if required. These positions will be offered on a casual basis working full time or part time hours.

What you’ll be doing

You will become an integral part of COVID19 Vaccination rollout team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of the community.

  • Support the nursing team to continue in the provision of expert care to the general public
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an environment which promotes safety, security and personal integrity of individual patients and groups
  • Complies with policies, procedures, work instructions and guidelines
  • Ensure confidentiality of corporate information
  • Some weekend work and extended hours may be available

While providing you the ability to work at the top of your scope, you will be supported by an experienced and knowledgeable multidisciplinary team to assist you in being exceptional every time.

About you

To be considered suitable for these AIN opportunities you will be:

  • A current Nursing student (completed first clinical prac) or have a Cert III in Aged Care
  • Have completed or be willing to complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Training Program (non-clinical training modules) (COVID19 Training Modules)
  • Be available for 2+ shifts per week
  • Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
