Home Care Employee | Casino | Part Time

The Role:

We’re looking for a Home Employee to work in the Location area. In this position you’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality in-home care services to our clients. This position is being offered as a Part time 20 hours or more.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting clients with a range of daily life activities
  • Domestic assistance, including cleaning, washing and care of pets
  • Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating
  • Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
  • Social support & activities, including outings and social activities
  • Personal care, including grooming, bathing and dressing
  • Toileting, including incontinence aids, sanitary pads, colostomy and drainage bags
  • Provide support for health conditions, including skin care, medication reminders and diabetes management
  • Assistance with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids

The Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an empathy with older people
  • Certificate III in Aged Care / Disability Support or related field
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Current driver’s license and car with comprehensive insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
