An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a highly talented and experienced Contracts Manager who is seeking a long career with one of Australia’s leading builders. We have recently secured multiple large developments and the need for top-class operator is immediate on a $400M project in Sydney’s West.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating, reporting on, and advising on of all commercial aspects of a large-scale project; and ensuring effective and consistent administration of all project contractual relationships.

This role will also be responsible for advising and instructing the project team members on compliance with commercial requirements set out in the head contract, subcontracts, consultant and supply agreements, quality management systems, policies, guidelines and project specific procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Procurement & Planning
  • RFP & Bid stage
  • Administration
  • Reporting
  • Contract & Subcontract Management
  • Risk Management
  • Training
  • HSE

Your key skills and experience will include:

  • Relevant and proven experience in a Contracts Manager role
  • Extensive exposure to major commercial projects
  • Experience in various types of projects such as Design & Construct contracts; Construct only contracts; construction management contracts using (amended) Standard Form contracts; Joint Ventures
  • Approximately 10 years’ experience in contract management, including commercial/risk policies and procedures, project management, claims management, reporting and dispute resolution
  • Tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, construction law or other relevant discipline
