The role

Working closely within the leadership team to support each manager & their team within multiple aged care services across the Murray River & Riverina regions of NSW.

You will provide daily guidance & support across the service’s surrounding the achievement of accreditation standards & quality processes.

You will review, develop & implement improvements within the service delivery to ensure resident care needs are achieved in line with current standards, with the ability to reduce risk whilst achieving clinical indicators.

With the ability to coach & educate staff members on accurate documentation and the identification of changes in care.

Summary of Duties

  • Day to day oversight & direction of quality processes & practises
  • Monitoring & reporting of clinical indicators
  • Ensure accurate completion of relevant documentation
  • Review & update organisational policies & procedures
  • Undertaking clinical audits, whilst implementing relevant changes
  • Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met

Skills and Experience

  • AHPRA registration as EN or RN
  • Previous experience within a similar position
  • Aged care accreditation knowledge & experience
  • Experience with audit processes
  • Ability to identify & improve areas for improvement
  • Understanding of WHS & risk management
  • Consultative & effective communication skills
