About the role

We are searching for a true leader who is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of our clients.

In this exciting position as our Service Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of quality services and for the operational functions of the Home Care Team within the Southern Downs region. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, implement and evaluate client focused, in home care services, and help us to shape our vision of clients living their best life. You will need to be self-sufficient and take initiative when you actively lead, support and promote our services to meet and exceed strategic business objectives inclusive of service growth.

With a responsibility for all aspects of workforce management, you will shape a culture consistent with the organisation's mission and values. You will actively drive and develop relationships with the local community, identifying and cultivating client pipelines. You will be responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance and providing relevant reports to the Regional Manager. You will also ensure legislative and external reporting requirements are met, and that the service is always accreditation ready.

This position is located in Warwick, and travel across to Stanthorpe and surrounds will be required.

About you

You are a person-centred leader who can work across organisational boundaries. With your previous experience in an organisation driven by change, you easily motivate your team with your inspiring and driven initiatives.

Due to your proven track record of leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team, you have developed invaluable problem solving, decision making and negotiation capabilities. In addition, you are experienced in building & leveraging relationships and opportunities in the community.

You look forward to the challenge of maintaining, and growing, a skilled and motivated care team in the Southern Downs area. Driven by challenges, you are looking for a role where your input will make a real and substantial difference to the lives of our clients.

Ideally you will have:
Relevant experience in home care or the aged care sector;
Experience leading and supporting service teams;
Knowledge of aged care legislation and funding;
Experience at an operational level within a customer driven environment;
Certificate IV in Home and Community Care (or equivalent) or commitment to complete this or similar qualification within 12 months of commencing;
Demonstrated ability to undertake work across a range of specialist or operational areas.
