About The Role

This role will provide high level volunteer coordination and administration support for the Calvary South Australia Volunteer Services team and volunteers.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring a positive volunteering experience and delivering exceptional service to Calvary and the community we serve.

Duties Include
  • Engaging with and assisting volunteers, demonstrating hospitality through personal responsiveness
  • Recruitment and on-boarding of new volunteers
  • Rostering of volunteers
  • Organising and assisting to facilitate volunteer training and events
  • Contributing to continuously improving and developing volunteer programs
  • Maintaining mandatory compliances, databases and general administration

What You Bring
  • Experience with recruitment, training and coordination of volunteers.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in an efficient and pro-active manner displaying excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level inter-personal, communication and facilitation skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Energy, empathy and a clear understanding of professional boundaries.
  • High level computer literacy.
  • Ability to coordinate rosters.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
