Position Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists in the Integrated Care Stream for a highly motivated Operations and Strategy leader, with the appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive workforce. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports the organisations key integrated care initiatives and develops new models of care for the Local Health Network. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care.

Selection Criteria

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.

2. Relevant health or management qualifications or equivalent.

3. Senior leadership and management experience with proven change management and leadership expertise with a proven ability to project management including the use of lean methodology.

4. Proven track record of developing long lasting relationships and networks built on trust with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Ability to apply superior planning skills to coordinate and implement strategic, business and major projects.

6. Demonstrated high level knowledge of the impact of changing models of care, service delivery practice and evidence in the development of health services.

7. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, analytical, problem solving, relationship building and communication skills and experience in relating effectively at senior leadership level to provide effective solutions to complex issues and in responding to new funding and service delivery requirements.

8. Significant and proven experience in high-level policy analysis, formulation, implementation and monitoring, using strategic and business planning processes in a large and complex organisation.
