This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at up to 30.4 hours per fortnight.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Clinical Psychologist to coordinate the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program at the Alma St Centre, Fremantle Hospital.

Duties include delivering the DBT and Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO DBT) programs to individuals and groups (assessment and psychological therapies), program development, research and education to staff and external bodies on complex clinical presentations, DBT and RO DBT.

In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary and professional team context, and provide supervision to clinical psychology Registrars/Trainees. You will practice as a Clinical Psychologist and ensures practice is in accordance to the Psychology Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and South Metropolitan Health Service policies and guidelines.

Area Profile: Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

Fremantle Hospital Mental Health Service (FHMHS) provides recovery focused mental health services. It works in partnership with consumers and their carers and acknowledges that each individual is an expert in their own recovery.

FHMHS provides services to the residents of Fremantle, Cockburn and Melville. It offers adult services to people aged 18 to 65 years and older adult services for people over 65 years.

Our services include: acute inpatient mental health services and community mental health services (including outpatient clinics and continuing care programs).
