Gippsland’s local TAFE is currently recruiting for a motivated, enthusiastic and inspiring educator to join our Nursing and Health team. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and industry expertise with students, and have a genuine desire to shape and influence the next generation of care providers then this is the role for you.

About the role

You will deliver high quality training and assessment, develop innovative resources and assessment materials, and undertake educational administration. You will provide students with support and advice, and equip them with the skills and knowledge required to enable them to transition into the workforce or further education and training.

Mandatory requirements

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 *
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • A Bachelor of Nursing or a higher BN post-graduate degree
  • Current vocational skills and knowledge in nursing and aged care
  • Recent and proven industry experience in clinical based nursing
  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check (no older than 12 months)

* If you don’t have the minimum required teaching qualification but have extensive industry experience and associated qualifications, we will consider your application but you must meet all other criteria shown in the Job Description.
