About the role
We’re looking for the best Graduate Nurses and Midwives in the state to join our team and in return, we’ll give you the best first-year development program.

We have multiple positions available at two of our three hospitals in Adelaide, South Australia, at Calvary Adelaide and Calvary North Adelaide. Calvary offers a fantastic nursing experience in a wide range of clinical areas.

Exclusive to Calvary Private Hospitals, our One plus Graduate Nurse Transition Program is based on a best practice Transition Changes Model, to support you to be the best you can be in your professional practice. Our Graduate Nurse Transition Program Coordinators are dedicated educators to facilitate your program and provide exceptional support via monthly meetings, tailored study days and assistance and supervision in the clinical space as day to day check-ins.

The graduate nurse program runs for 12 months, with two 6 month rotations available across the diverse range of specialties within our hospitals.

The graduate midwife program also runs for 12 months and is only available at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital, offering a diverse range of experiences throughout the department, including Post-Natal, Delivery Suite and Level 5 Nursery.

What You Bring
  • Be a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery, or a Diploma of Nursing.
  • Be available to work a 24/7 roster.
  • Have no more than 3 months full time experience in your graduating field.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
