About The Role

This program lead position will see you running the daily coordination of our Sports program.

As an experienced Disability Support Worker and Sportsperson, you will be passionate about building inclusion sport participation and understand the need to facilitate real social change for people with disabilities by designing and delivering a range of fun recreational and sports activities.

Other duties in the role will include supporting clients to engage and participate in their community, assist clients at meal times, with personal care, administering medication and other domestic duties.

Must haves
  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience as a Disability or Aged Care Support Worker
  • Interest in sport and social active recreation;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver health and fitness services or relevant qualifications;
  • Great leadership skills
  • Empathy, compassion and patience;
  • Clear verbal and written English communication skills;
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Strong coordination skills
  • A professional attitude towards work, accountable, reliable and have a high level of motivation;
  • Thrive in a team-based environment, where everyone pitches in to help;
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) and access to a car;
