We are currently seeking to appoint a Roster / Resources Officer to join our dynamic team at Juniper Community, located at Juniper Ron Wilson House in Bentley.

The purpose of this position is to effectively roster Community Support Workers, the Nursing Team and the Allied Health Team to provide services to clients within a range of community care programs (CHSP and Packaged Care). This busy administrative role requires highly developed organisational skills, an analytical mindset, patience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a broad range of people.

The successful applicant will be appointed a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, during core business hours. Hours will alternate between 06:00am and 05:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective and efficient scheduling of client services for CHSP and Packaged Care clients.
  • Covering services from working rosters and prioritising service coverage.
  • Manage and resolve immediate enquiries and requirements relating to service changes and/or the coverage of absent staff (sick leave).
  • Effective communication and liaison with Clients and Care Advisors relating to service changes.
  • Assists with day to day requirements within the resources and logistics area and any other duties as directed by the Scheduling and Logistics Team Leader.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with an adaptable and flexible approach to daily tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with OSH requirements; take appropriate steps to mitigate injury risk.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Demonstrated competence with scheduling/rostering programs in a Home and community Aged Care setting. ( desirable - not essential )
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems.
  • High level of computer skills and knowledge relating to systems, databases, ComCare , Procura etc. ( desirable )
  • An analytical mindset and highly developed organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines and work in a time pressured environment.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to occupational safety and health.
