The Position

Position Title: Health Service Assistant (Screening)
Classification: PW11
Salary per hour (exc. super): $25.02
Hours per fortnight: up to 76 hours per fortnight available
Employment Status: Fixed Term Part Time

The Team

The Integrated Care Services Division offers a diverse range of programs and services which provide high quality person centred care to patients, clients, residents and consumers in Bendigo and across the Loddon Mallee Region. Services are provided in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.

Our services include; Aboriginal Services and Diversity, Allied Health, Community Programs, Health Promotion, Outpatient Rehabilitation Service, Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Services, Rehabilitation & Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care, Residential Care Services, Transition Care and Volunteer Services.

Selection Criteria
01.Completion of first year of health degree (nursing, allied health, medicine), Certificate in Aged Care or relevant qualification as Health Service Assistant

02.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with a diverse range of people at all levels

03.Excellent computer skills

04.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and problem solve whilst working within a fast paced environment

05.Ability to work as part of a team as well as to work independently

06.Collaborative team player with a positive, enthusiastic, friendly and helpful attitude

07.Demonstrated ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and to manage time effectively

08.Ability to operate in an environment of change and continous improvement

09.Strong attention to detail

10.Willingness to undertake police and NDIS checks prior to commencement
