  • Client-side project delivery role (Portfolio Manager)
  • Significant package of works to deliver
  • Rigorous project methodology focus
UnitingCare Queensland's (UCQ) Retirement/ Aged Care portfolio consists of the residential aged care portfolio (3,502 beds across 47 sites) and the Retirement Living (BlueCare) portfolio which has 2,603 units - currently 8.8% of all available units in Queensland; the second largest provider in the State. The property portfolio plays a critical role in delivering services to its clients.

The UCQ Property Plan identifies significant projects to deliver over the next ten years. These are a mix of new developments and considerable asset renewal works. Execution of both these greenfield projects and physical renewal of assets are essential to the business's success.

This newly created critical role of Retirement/ Aged Care Project Lead comes after a restructure of the Property Group. UCQ has been working with a top tier management consultancy to develop their 2030 vision and subsequent transformation strategy - including functional efficiency. Execution of this strategy of physical renewal of the Retirement/Aged Care portfolio is vital. Having recently appointed a Group General Manager to oversee the property strategy, this newly created role of Retirement Project Lead will be the key conduit between your portfolio and the Property Division. You will use robust project methodology to ensure rigorous project delivery. Your role will involve not only project delivery but also working on asset plans and strategy - keeping your role interesting and varied.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join this organisation on the client-side (for one of Queensland's major retirement/ aged care providers) and have real input into not only project delivery but how projects will be delivered. Key to your success will be your ability to build relationships with senior internal stakeholders to engender confidence in your ability to deliver. This role will require a project manager who can demonstrate a history of project success - with projects delivered on time and on budget.
