The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Social Worker to work in a casual capacity within our supportive and dynamic rehabilitation team. The successful applicant will provide a high standard of clinical services to inpatients, outpatients and their families. The role will be across a number of interesting clinical areas with the ability to work at our four (4) rehabilitation sites. Clinical responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive psycho-social assessments, family work and discharge planning. You will work collaboratively with colleagues from all disciplines and enjoy liaising with key stakeholders within and external to Epworth HealthCare.

Undertaking comprehensive psycho-social assessments and group work and complex discharge planning.

Striving for patient and family inclusive practice in all stages of care

Engaging positively with all other colleagues to achieve best clinical outcomes

You will have:
Eligibility for membership of the AASW

A minimum of three years of relevant social work experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting

Clinical experience in the area of trauma rehabilitation or aged care would be highly regarded

Have a well-developed expertise in assessment, intervention and discharge planning
