JOB DESCRIPTION

Baptistcare is one of Western Australia’s leading aged care providers - an organisation that prides itself on putting people at the heart of everything we do. Our Home Care Services enable seniors to live independently in their own homes, continuing to do what they love for as long as possible.

This is a fantastic leadership opportunity where you will work closely with our East Metro/Wheatbelt Home Care Services team to collaborate and facilitate Home Care Service delivery to our customers on a day-to-day basis. Managing workforce scheduling needs and strategies to ensure dedicated and high-quality service provision to our customers is achieved. You will work closely with the People and Culture team to support recruitment and training of Support Workers and provide them with hands-on support and guidance.

Delivering services to our customers you will be guided by Baptistcare’s values - togetherness, respect, accountability, caring and integrity. The Team Leader will schedule planned services for customers, with an emphasis on delivering person-centred care and enhancing the individual’s quality of life. You will maintain an understanding of the needs and preferences of customers and apply this to the scheduling of our Support Workers.

We are seeking a tertiary qualified or industry experienced professional with demonstrated skills in training and leading small teams. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound organisational skills and an ability to work independently. The Team Leader will actively participate in a culture of continuous improvement and will be required to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities and be solutions focused.

In return we offer an excellent benefits package, including salary sacrifice and the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and participate in our Leadership development program over the course of 18 months.

This role is primarily based out of our Midland office, with some requirement for travel across our East Metro and Wheatbelt region.
