About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional to take ownership of a key leadership role within our Finance Team, on a permanent full time basis. Reporting to our Financial Controller, the Manager - Planning & Performance is responsible for providing financial planning and performance support and advice to management and service leaders through understanding and interpretation of financial results and performance trends. You will be supervising and coordinating the day to day operations of a team of six team members (analysts and senior analysts) to drive business results and performance, by applying your experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Ultimately, you will act as a business partner and trusted advisor to the senior leadership team to deliver insightful reporting and analysis to inform commentary and help with key decision making for our services. This will see you getting involved with assessing viability and financial impacts of proposed business cases, tender evaluations, investments, budgets and forecasting cycles to ensure maximum performance for our different services.

About You

With a background in senior level coordination and compilation of planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and reporting, your skills, qualifications and experience will include:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar field
  • Relevant professional qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA) or currently studying towards
  • Strong leadership skills and experience with a supportive and collaborative style to drive performance, skills and engagement
  • Development and delivery of planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Analysis, evaluation and reporting of financial and performance
  • Applying performance data into actionable insight to advise and implement improvements
  • Exceptional problem solving, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly to stakeholders in a concise and clear manner
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS suite and other contemporary tools such as Power BI
  • A positive attitude, client-focused approach and genuine care for the work you are doing
