Position Information:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our Accounts team at our Head Office, which is located in the heart of Sydney CBD.

This role is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Administration Manager. As a key member of this team, you will be able to hit the ground running and provide core support across both our Accounts Payable and Receivable teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing resident billings and ensure they are on time and accurate.
  • Processing and ensuring admissions, discharges and transfers are correctly maintained.
  • Confirming receipting is completed prior to billing
  • Processing adjustments
  • Generating and distributing resident Invoices/Statements
  • Data entry and preparing payment runs for supplier invoices
  • Ensuring all vendor records are up to date
  • General administration tasks

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 3 years previous experience in high volume accounts payable/accounts receivable position
  • A service oriented approach always looking for ways to assist our residents
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and priortise your workload to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
