An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist who is looking to progress their career. The Position

You will be responsible for the delivery of Physiotherapy services that support improved health outcomes for clients as part of an integrated approach to the delivery of contemporary health services. As a member of the multidisciplinary subacute inpatient rehabilitation team you will provide high quality, client centred care to a mixed orthopaedic, neurological and reconditioning case load. In addition you will be involved in process and quality improvement activities, evaluation of services and providing support to Grade 1 staff and supervision of students.

The Department

Physiotherapy services at BRHS are provided for the Health Independence Program which includes Sub Acute Ambulatory Care, Post-Acute Care and Complex care, Commonwealth Home Support Programs, aged care, acute/ward setting, home and community care programs rehabilitation (HACC).

Key Attributes You Need

  • A degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in the health sector
  • Extensive clinical experience and specialist knowledge in a hospital with demonstrated orthopaedic or neurological clinical skills
  • An understanding of and commitment to contemporary, goal-directed service delivery models that focus on person centered care
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills that enable efficient prioritisation of workload
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues and actively engage clients in their treatment
