JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of Victorians into the future. We also lead the Victorian Government's response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Working with our partners, we oversee Victoria's health system including mental health, ageing and aged care and preventive health. POSITION SUMMARY:

The newly established System Reform unit leads the Department of Health's reform agenda for public health services in Victoria. In this role you will support development and delivery of an ambitious forward reform agenda to address critical system priorities arising from COVID-19, along with broader strategic priorities such as budget initiatives and Government commitments. You will be required to operate in a dynamic environment with curiosity, enthusiasm and initiative, working collaboratively within and across teams to support transformative change in the Victorian health system. Analytical thinking, creativity and communication are important aspects of the role, as is a commitment to positive and collaborative workplace cultures.
