About the role:

Based in our Bella Vista office and reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for owning the entire start to end Accounts Payable (AP) function at KinCare. Your main tasks will include managing and improving current processes, liaising with stakeholders at all levels, taking ownership of our AP system (Concur), leading a small team of AP Officers and maintaining accurate financial records.

Due to the size of the team, you will also be adaptable and happy to help the team with day-to-day processing for month-end, reporting and cash analysis from time-to-time.

For this role we are able to offer you up to 3 days a week working from home. If you love process improvement, are up for a new challenge, keen to roll your sleeves up and join the fast growing Aged Care industry, then this could be the role for you!

Other responsibilities include:

  • Reconciliation of the AP ledger and action of aged items.
  • Prepare and review the weekly payment run prior to transactions being released for payment.
  • Reviewing and approving credit card, client reimbursement and invoices in Concur.
  • Manage relationships with vendors as well as our IT, Procurement and Operations teams.
  • Answering and resolving internal & external queries on a regular basis.

About you:

  • Advance experience with the Concur expense management system is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to be hands on and problem solve with all aspects of the AP function.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading an AP team and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Superior time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated Accounts Payable experience in providing information, answering questions, and responding to complaints and enquiries.
  • Aged Care industry experience preferred but not essential.
