This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Adviser to work for a well-known and growing national company. You will be the key contact providing best advice to a broad range of team members and involved in recruitment processes as well as training and development. You will be responsible for building effective recruitment platforms, ensuring a pool of talented and motivated employees are successfully on-boarded and in addition to the day-to-day operational requirements of the business.

This role is for a candidate who shows initiative in implementing policies and procedures and continuously contributes to the achievement of strategic business objectives.


You must be customer and serviced focused and have proven experience in the dining and events industry. Your ability to conduct interviews, reference checking and disciplinary meetings in a tactful manner is needed to be successful in this role. Your previous administration experience and high attention to detail will ensure you accurately complete your tasks.   • All elements of recruitment including interviews, inductions, on-boarding, compliance, administration
  • Manage all types of operational HR matters including resource planning, hiring/termination, grievances, and mediation
  • Assist to create and implement HR initiatives to further support the company culture of collaboration, accountability and performance
  • Review, create and streamline processes and procedures
  • Provide HR support to clients by recording job listing information and details including job description, wages and conditions of employment at their sites
  • Foster effective relationships in all areas of the business, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee the induction and training program
  • Report on internal HR KPIs
  • Assist consultants with client HR related queries


  • Relevant experience desirable
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • Strategic and proactive thinker
  • A hands-on person who is able to prioritise and is comfortable with all elements of recruitment
  • Highly developed administration skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Your time management skills will ensure the efficient management of competing priorities ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times
